Desarrolla una propuesta para la implementación de un marco político e institucional que permita la apropiación real de prácticas de producción ganadera climáticamente inteligentes. Como ruta metodológica se realizó una investigación de fuentes secundarias, se tomó como base analítica la Teoría Fundamentada, y se procedió a sostener una serie de grupos focales temáticos y estos resultados fueron comparados a la luz de la Teoría Fundamentada para complementar los hallazgos del análisis de fuentes secundarias. Como resultado consigna avances y espacios de trabajo en materia de sinergias entre adaptación y mitigación, biodiversidad, emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero y servicios ecosistémicos hídricos para la ganadería sustentable y fortalecimiento de capacidades. Y finalmente, reflexiona que para cada una de las aristas mencionadas oportunidades de avance a escenarios promisorios, en los cuales la ganadería converja con la conservación de la biodiversidad y los servicios ecosistémicos, al mismo tiempo que es ambientalmente sostenible y económicamente rentable.
