Abstract
El inoculante de frijol es una tecnología ecológica que permite aumentar los rendimientos hasta un 25% sin contaminar el suelo ni el medio ambiente. Su bajo costo beneficia a los productores al reducir la necesidad de fertilizantes nitrogenados. La bacteria Rhizobium asociada con las plantas de frijol proporciona nutrientes a través de nódulos formados en las raíces. Su aplicación antes de la siembra aumenta la productividad y no afecta la salud humana ni el medio ambiente.
