El proceso de modernización agrícola de México: el caso del subsector hortalizas
Abstract
El presente estudio constituye la segunda etapa del estudio del IICA sobre los procesos de modernización del sector hortícola en México. Expone que el trabajo fue desarrollado a partir de una metodología proporcionada por el IICA, elaborada conjuntamente por la dirección del Programa I y la firma consultora canadiense ECONOLYNX. Los objetivos se orientan al análisis de los efectos multiplicadores de la modernización del subsector hortícola en México; identificación de los eslabonamientos productivos y de empleo del subsector; posicionamiento de las fases productivas y de comercialización del subsector; integración de la estructura industrial destacando sus principales indicadores y posibilidades de desarrollo; actualización y análisis de los efectos de las políticas macroeconómicas vigentes en el proceso de modernización del subsector; e identificación de las fuerzas y debilidades del subsector. Seis capítulos se incluyen en un documento y el sétimo se encuentra por separado en otro documento. (MIBA)
