Aborda la situación de localidades rurales con sus cerca, que se desenvuelven en las zonas áridas y semiáridas de México, sobre todo observa los retos que representan las frecuentes sequías derivadas de los efectos del cambio climático, gracias a esto identificar que diversas oportunidades y alternativas para que estas localidades realicen un mejor aprovechamiento de los recursos naturales, en el marco de un desarrollo sostenible y más resiliente ante el cambio climático, generando oportunidades de empleo y mejores ingresos. Presenta un modelo de gestión territorial para el desarrollo sostenible, utilizando como población de estudio Ejido San Felipe, México, dispone un conjunto de herramientas metodológicas que permitan un abordaje en relación a el desarrollo de capacidades que lleven a los actores locales hacia la transformación de su realidad para incrementar su resiliencia territorial ante el cambio climático.
