El aporte de la bioeconomía al proceso de recuperación de la pandemia podría explicarse con dos situaciones. Por un lado, las migraciones internas, materializadas en la descongestión de las zonas urbanas por el teletrabajo y la migración a zonas rurales, con el fin de generar el distanciamiento social. En segundo lugar, la cooperación científica internacional en todas sus manifestaciones. También, se ha logrado identificar que los fenómenos biológicos no respetan fronteras en un entorno globalizado y que los cambios sufridos durante la pandemia abren nuevas oportunidades de repensar los escenarios desde una perspectiva sustentable
