Abstract
Este documento presenta el informe de la comisión de evaluación de los laboratorios de diagnóstico veterinario en las Américas, el cuál, tiene como objetivo hacer una análisis y evaluación de la situación actual y de los problemas existentes en los laboratorios de diagnóstico veterinario como base para iniciar actividades tendientes a posibilitar que los laboratorios funcionen en condiciones óptimas y proporcionen un servicio confiable para mejorar la salud y la productividad de la ganadería de las américas.
También este documento presenta la necesidad y posibilidades de la coordinación de los institutos y laboratorios veterinarios de diagnóstico e investigación en el hemisferio.
