Abstract
Se realiza una reflexión colectiva sobre la situación de las mujeres rurales, sus aportes en la agricultura y la seguridad alimentaria y sobre las necesidades que deben ser atendidas para propiciar su desarrollo humano y económico.
Se cuenta Marcela Ballara, consultora en estudios de género; Nemesia Achacollo, Ministra de Desarrollo Rural y Tierras de Bolivia; Beatriz Paredes, Presidenta del PRI México; Ana Arocha, Presidenta de la Federación de Mujeres Rurales de Uruguay; Melania Portilla, Especialista en Desarrollo Rural del IICA y con mujeres productoras de las Américas.
