Abstract
Presenta los resultados de un trabajo práctico realizado en el marco del Seminario sobre Administración de Proyectos Rurales celebrado en Costa Rica en 1983 por la Unidad de Asistencia Técnica (RUTA-Proyecto PNUD/BM/FIDA/IICA). Indica que el objetivo de dicho estudio fue medir el impacto social y económico que ha tenido el Programa Centroamericano de Agroempresas Rurales (PROCAR) del Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica (BCIE) fundamentalmente en las condiciones de vida del pequeño productor agrícola. El análisis y estudio expuesto se centra para el caso de Costa Rica, por lo que se presenta información referente a siete proyectos seleccionados según cierta metodología y que son objeto de financiamiento por parte del BCIE a través de PROCAR.
