Abstract
Se perfila en este documento los antecedentes del Subproyecto Artesanal Textiles-Indígenas que forma parte del Proyecto de Desarrollo Agropecuario del Norte de Chuquisaca en Bolivia. Sus objetivos son: lograr ingresos económicos complementarios y/o alternativos para las familias campesinas; recuperación de los textiles tradicionales; y, vitalizar la capacidad organizativa de las comunidades con la creación de unidades productivas autogestionarias. Seguidamente, se dan aspectos que determinan la participación de la mujer en el subproyecto artesanal y su capacitación; luego, una descripción del Subproyecto, sus dificultades y resultados obtenidos.
