Capacitações Viva o Semiárido
Abstract
O Projeto Viva o Semiárido – PVSA resulta de Acordo de Empréstimo firmado entre o Governo do Estado do Piauí e o Fundo Internacional de Desenvolvimento Agrícola – FIDA. O PVSA, tem como objetivo geral contribuir para a redução da pobreza e dos níveis de extrema pobreza da população rural do semiárido piauiense por meio do incremento das atividades produtivas predominantes e do fortalecimento organizacional dos produtores rurais
O projeto atua em 89 municípios de cinco territórios do Piauí: Vale do Sambito (15 municípios), Vale do Rio Guaribas (39), Vale do Rio Canindé (17), Serra da Capivara (18) e Chapada Vale do Rio Itaim (16). Os investimentos são destinados a planos de negócios voltados para as atividades da apicultura, ovinocaprinocultura, cajucultura, piscicultura, avicultura, quintais produtivos, suinocultura, mandiocultura, irrigação e artesanato.
