Present tendencies on agricultural enterprises management
Abstract
Presenta un análisis de la tendencia de la administración de las empresas agropecuarias en América Latina. Para ello parte de la premisa de que la administración de empresas agropecuarias permanecerá estancada sí no hay un gran cambio en los tipos de empresas que hoy predominan en la región, las cuales están estrechamente ligadas a la tenencia de la tierra. Por tanto, la administración seguirá, salvo excepciones, patrones tradicionales que no se apartarán mucho de lo que hoy día se concibe como administración de empresas. El contenido del documento es desarrollado bajo los siguientes encabezamientos principales: (1) introducción; donde se caracteriza los principales tipos de empresas agropecuarias en función de su forma de tenencia de la tierra; (2) la conceptualización del desarrollo rural; donde menciona algunas características más salientes y comunes de dicho proceso, así como sus elementos y condiciones necesarias. Enfatiza tres puntos importantes: una estrategia para el desarrollo rural; el papel de la empresa agropecuaria en el desarrollo rural; y las tendencias actuales de la administración de empresas agropecuarias.
