Resumo
Mr. Kent Coipel, Technical Specialist at the IICA Delegation in Dominica shares his experiences of enhancing the climate responsiveness of Dominica's agriculture sector through the integration of gender-responsiveness in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and the implementation of Sustainable Land Management (SLM) practices. Mr. Laurenzo Tirtopawiro, Technical Specialist at the IICA Delegation in Suriname shares his experiences of enhancing the climate responsiveness of Suriname's agriculture sector through the promotion and implementation of climate-smart agriculture technologies such as protected agricultural structures, micro-irrigation, and rainwater harvesting for sustainable commercial vegetable production. Mr. Willie Chan, Technical Specialist at the IICA Delegation in Belize shares the experiences of enhancing the climate responsiveness of Belize's agriculture sector through the implementation of integrated soil fertility management inclusive of pH management, compost making, soil drainage and decompaction, and the establishment of cover crops.
