The main activities carried out by the Institute in Suriname during 2021 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening in issues of apiculture, composting, agrotourism, livestock. fishing, climate-smart technology. Likewise, work was done on the cultivation of solanaceae, especially wild eggplant (Solanum stramonifolium). Finally, the market and opportunities for women's agricultural businesses were promoted, as well as guaranteeing access to drinking water, through the collection of rainwater. Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Suriname durante el 2021, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo en temas de apicultura, compostaje, agroturismo, ganadería. pesca, tecnología climáticamente inteligente. Asimismo, se trabajo en el cultivo de solanáceas, especialmente en berenjena silvestre (Solanum stramonifolium). Finalmente, se promociono el mercado y las oportunidades para empresas agrícolas de mujeres, así como garantizar el acceso al agua potable, por medio de recolección de agua de lluvia.
