Abstract
Cada reforma agraria tiene sus propios antecedentes y su historia de funcionamiento; no hay dos iguales. Este estudio examina catorce programas de México, Birmania, Ceilán, China comunista, Costa Rica, Checoslovaquia, Egipto, Formosa, India, Italia, Japón, Filipinas, Puerto Rico y Siria, con el propósito de destacar los aspectos sobresalientes de cada una. Se escogieron éstos porque presentan características especiales o una combinación no presentes en los demás.
