Chile. Logros significativos 2010-2017

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Chile, durante el período comprendido desde el año 2010 al 2017, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como agricultura familiar, sostenibilidad, sanidad animal y vegetal, biotecnología, bioseguridad, políticas públicas, resiliencia contra el cambio climático, inocuidad alimentaria por medio del Codex Alimentarius. Asimismo, se trabajó en la evaluación de riesgos, en los sistemas agropecuarios y en el control de enfermedades transfronterizas, como la influenza aviar.

The main activities carried out by the Institute in Chile are identified, during the period from 2010 to 2017, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as family farming, sustainability, animal and plant health, biotechnology, biosecurity , public policies, resilience against climate change, food safety through the Codex Alimentarius. Likewise, work was done on risk assessment, on agricultural systems and on the control of transboundary diseases, such as avian influenza.
