Saint Kitts and Nevis. Significant achievements 2015

The main activities carried out by the Institute in Saint Kitts and Nevis during 2015 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as exports, competitiveness, infrastructure, financing, use of greenhouses, pest control and resilience against climate change. Finally, the inclusion of young people and the improvement of the value chains of vegetables, mango, tomato and sweet pepper were supported.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Santo Kitts y Nevis durante el 2015, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como exportación, competitividad, infraestructura, financiamiento, uso de invernaderos, control de plagas y resiliencia contra el cambio climático. Finalmente se apoyo la inclusión de los jóvenes y en el mejoramiento de las cadenas de valor de hortalizas, mango, tomate y chile dulce.
