Abstract
La Técnica del Grupo Participativo (TGP) es un proceso que permite el consenso de las opiniones y agrega los juicios, con el fin de incrementar la racionalidad y la creatividad de enfoques diferentes y heterogéneos (comunidad, técnicos, líderes, autoridades civiles, iglesia, etc.), con relación a la situación que afecta su desarrollo socio-económico y las acciones requeridas para alcanzarlo en forma efectiva. En Colombia, en el marco del Proyecto de Planificación y Administración para el Desarrollo Agropecuario y Rural (PROPLAN), la TGP ha sido utilizada especialmente en acciones referidas a la conducción de programas y proyectos de desarrollo agropecuario y rural, y en forma específica en la identificación, priorización y selección de alternativas de solución a la problemática que afecta el desarrollo rural integrado regional y microregional. Contiene una descripción y explicación de las fases de este proceso grupal, a saber: preparación y estructuración del evento; selección de participantes; plenaria inicial; trabajo en grupos reducidos; fusionamiento de los grupos reducidos; priorización de la problemática; identificación de alternativas de solución; y presentación de resultados.
