This manual seeks to provide the reader with general information on organisms that have attained pest status in the urban environment, the factors that contribute to these organisms attaining pest status, the principles and strategies for the management of these organisms, and the issues to be considered during the development of a pest management
programme. the information provided is intended to provide interested individuals with the knowledge base on which they may build further knowledge and develop their skills as pest management operators
