Canada. Significant achievements 2022
Abstract
The activities carried out by the Trinidad and Tobago Delegation of 2022 are identified, focus to needs and interests of the country such as; about African Swine Fever (ASF) collaborated with a network of national agricultural research bodies, to support ASF diagnostic training and research collaborations across the region; on technical cooperation, the Institute pursued multiple project bids; bringed additional technical cooperation services about food system transformation, genomic solution research and climate- smart agriculture; it developed partnerships and secured support of cooperation public and private; it co-hosted several hybrid and virtual regional and hemispheric, about the challenges and needs are facing amidst current development challenges; it launched an updated virtual course in 2022 on “Preparing to Export Agri-food Products,” also took part in multiple Canadian and international conferences, including speaking and moderating opportunities, providing guidance, thought leadership and development solutions Se identifican las actividades que realizó la Delegación de Trinidad y Tobago en el 2022, enfocadas a necesidades e intereses del país tales como; sobre la Peste Porcina Africana (PPA) colaboró con una red de organismos de investigación agrícola, para apoyar la capacitación en diagnóstico de la peste porcina africana y las colaboraciones de investigación en toda la región; en materia de cooperación técnica, el Instituto persiguió múltiples licitaciones de proyectos; aportó servicios adicionales de cooperación técnica sobre la transformación del sistema alimentario, la investigación de soluciones genómicas y la agricultura climáticamente inteligente; desarrolló alianzas y aseguró el apoyo de la cooperación pública y privada; fue coanfitrión de varios híbridos y virtuales regionales y hemisféricos, sobre los desafíos y necesidades que enfrentan en medio de los desafíos actuales del desarrollo; lanzó un curso virtual actualizado en 2022 sobre "Preparación para la exportación de productos agroalimentarios", también participó en múltiples conferencias canadienses e internacionales, incluidas oportunidades para hablar y moderar, brindar orientación, liderazgo intelectual y soluciones de desarrollo.
