The activities carried out by the Trinidad and Tobago Delegation of 2022 are identified, focus to needs and interests of the country such as; conduct strategic disease surveillance and diagnostics, as well as deliver rapid responses to protect livestock from animal diseases; supported officials in networking and improving their knowledge to address current and emerging pests and diseases that threaten productivity, yields, farm incomes and exports; facilitated technical expertise and networking; targeted training through online and face-to-face workshops on food safety from farm to market, climate vulnerabilities and make decisions to build their climate resilience, related to the need to measure and report data on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, including from agriculture; also supported business networking, training, troubleshooting, market exposure and support for product quality enhancement via WhatsApp, virtual webinars and face-to-face sessions. Se identifican las actividades que realizó la Delegación de Trinidad y Tobago del 2022, enfocadas a necesidades e intereses del país tales como; lleva a cabo la vigilancia y el diagnóstico de enfermedades estratégicas, así como brindar respuestas rápidas para proteger al ganado de las enfermedades animales; apoyó en la creación de redes y la mejora de conocimientos para abordar las plagas y enfermedades actuales y emergentes que amenazan la productividad, los rendimientos, los ingresos agrícolas y las exportaciones; facilitó la experiencia técnica y la creación de redes; brindó capacitación específica a través de talleres en línea y presenciales sobre inocuidad alimentaria desde la granja hasta el mercado, vulnerabilidades climáticas y toma de decisiones para desarrollar su resiliencia climática, medir y reportar datos sobre emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI); también apoyó la creación de redes comerciales, la capacitación, la resolución de problemas, la exposición al mercado y el soporte para la mejora de la calidad del producto a través de WhatsApp, seminarios web virtuales y sesiones presenciales.
