Abstract
Estudio realizado con el fin de observar los efectos de los tratamientos en el trasplante y la resistencia de las plantas a las condiciones de sequía. Todos estos estudios, se realizaron en La Hulera, situado a 2 Km, aproximadamente del edificio central del IICA. En el experimento principal, los factores ácido giberélico y azúcar, se combinaron en 12 tratamientos; de estos tratamientos se hicieron 10 repeticiones con plantas a plena exposición y 10 repeticiones con plantas bajo sombra de 50% aproximadamente. Un último estudio se hizo, empleando plantas en macetas, bajo condiciones de invernadero, con el fin de observar efectos de tratamientos previos con azúcar, en la resistencia de las plantas a la sequía.
