En forma general se dice que la Sociología es el estudio científico de la sociedad, más específicamente, que es el estudio de las formas y características de la organización de la gente: grupos formales e informales, primarios y secundarios, liderazgo, estratificación, demografía, niveles de vida, etc. En cambio, la Antropología Social o Cultural estudia científicamente la cultura de la gente, esto es, sus costumbres, valores y creencias
