Abstract
Se abordan las universidades y escuelas formadoras de profesionales agrícolas, a nivel superior y medio necesitan especializarse, pero a la vez generalizarse, es decir: métodos y menos técnicas, para dar respuestas técnicas a la regiones y países en que se insertan. Sin embargo, no deben cometer el error de formar profesionales especializados, sino utilizar esa especialización como un ejemplo en la perspectiva de formar profesionales generalistas. Por ello, es necesario cuestionarse si existe realmente una filosofía real de la educación superior en ALC, ya que la mayoría de los países de ALC han sido no solo lentos sino incapaces de formular una filosofía consiente de la educación superior.
