Saint Lucia. Significant achievements 2016
Abstract
The main activities carried out by the Institute in Saint Lucia during 2016 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as beekeeping, technology, family farming, exports, trade, governance, public policies, sustainability and food security. . Finally, support was given to young entrepreneurs, the value chains of honey, pollen and small and medium-sized companies. Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Santa Lucia durante el 2016, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como apicultura, tecnología, agricultura familiar, exportación, comercio, gobernanza, políticas públicas, sostenibilidad y seguridad alimentaria. Finalmente, se apoyó a los jóvenes empresarios, las cadenas de valor de la miel, polen y las pequeñas y medianas empresas.
