The main activities carried out by the Institute in the United States of America during 2021 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening health and food safety issues with the application of the Codex Alimentarius, in agrotourism, agribusiness, technology, digital agriculture and responsible and sustainable economy. Likewise, work was done to improve the export of dairy products, livestock production, wet markets and pest control, with the prevention of African swine fever. Finally, it contributed to the financing of projects, to support for FONTAGRO and to the role of cereals and oilseeds in achieving sustainability. Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Estados Unidos de América durante el 2021, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo en temas de sanidad e inocuidad de los alimentos con la aplicación del Codex Alimentarius, en agroturismo, agronegocios, tecnología, agricultura digital y economía responsable y sostenible. Asimismo, se trabajo en mejorar la exportación de productos lácteos, en la producción pecuaria, en los mercados húmedos y en el control de plagas, con la prevención de la peste porcina africana (PPA). Finalmente, se contribuyó en la financiación de proyectos, en el apoyo a FONTAGRO y en el papel de los cereales y semillas oleaginosas para lograr una sostenibilidad.
