Biolatina'98 was conceived as an international meeting focusing on science-industry biolinkages in Latin American markets, with particular emphasis on the promotion of business and strategic alliances. The event was jointly organized by the Latin American Federation of Bio-Industry Associations (FELAEB), and the Brazilian Association of Biotechnology Enterprises (ABRABI).
